About

Hi there, my name is Amita, and I live in the Albury-Wodonga region. I am an Indian Physiotherapist, an Exercise Scientist amd Lymphoedema specialist who specialise in treating lymphoedema, lipoedema and chronic pain. I also have an extensive understanding of chronic pain conditions. I have over ten years of clinical experience and have always strived to provide the best treatment to my patients.

From a very young age, I found great satisfaction in providing help and relief for those with debilitating pain and other conditions impacting their quality of life. So, when it came time to choose my career, health care was very clearly my calling! I am thrilled to use my passion and knowledge to provide dignified and informed treatments to my patients.

My interest in lymphoedema, lipoedema and chronic pain has allowed me to specialise in techniques and treatments that provide relief and mobility to my patients. And for some patients, these treatments have quite literally changed their lives. You can read some of my patients' personal comments here.

Above all, I like to treat my patients with dignity and kindness. This is very important to me and the core values of my practice. Many of my patients have misunderstood, and misdiagnosed conditions, such as lymphoedema and lipedema, and others are dealing with chronic pain daily. So I want PAL Lymphoedema and Pain Clinic to be a place of peace and healing right here in the Albury-Wodonga region.

Once I moved to Australia I decided to refine my passion: treating people with lymphoedema, lipoedema and chronic pain. I am passionate about education and continue to immerse myself in research reports and findings on these conditions so I can continue to build my deep knowledge of lymphedema, lipoedema and chronic pain.

Due to the specialised nature of our clinic, we have lymphoedema, lipoedema and chronic pain patients that come to us from across Albury-Wodonga and also regional towns within 1 -2 hours away.
